Let's do the short version…

Born in Minsk (Belarus), immigrated to Chicago at age 8, got out of there at 18 to go to McGill U. in Montreal. Studied Molecular Biology. Did some in depth yoga study and teaching with Allison Ulan and Darby of the Ashtanga Yoga Studio and am deeply grateful to them for introducing to me to something that is right with the world.

Went on to UC Berkeley to do a PhD in Biology.  Transferred to UCLA via a year-long hiatus to study Chinese Medicine.

Through my pain, and thanks to it, I discovered the beauty of the Egoscue Method.  It is a supremely intelligent combination of various postures, termed e-cises, that are designed to resolve chronic pain.  But it is so much more.  Because of the Egoscue method, I am healthier than I have ever been in my life.  I am not evangelical about many things.  But this one, I am.
